Growing Kiwi Fruit
|
Growing kiwi fruit - ZESPRI never stops looking for new
and exciting varieties of kiwifruit, and new ways to use and
even to process ZESPRI Kiwifruit with its distinctive
tangy taste and healthy goodness. With more than 2500 owner-producers,
a staff of team players dedicated to championing the brand all
around the world by building mutually beneficial relationships
with suppliers and customers, and with its own Research and
Development unit, ZESPRI International continues to be a leading
kiwifruit pioneer.
The pioneering spirit has never left the New Zealand kiwifruit
industry. The continuous quest for improvement and excellence
remains a driving force for ZESPRI International - to develop
new varieties, find new markets and customers, and develop new
ways to use kiwifruit's great taste and health benefits.
ZESPRI has its headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand, with an
operations base at Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty, prime
kiwifruit country. The company employs nearly 200 people and
the brand, and staff who champion it, are to be found all around
the world. They are not just buyers, sellers and distributors.
From orchard to market, ZESPRI staff are team players, ready
to back up, form relationships with and support other equally
dedicated partners.
ZESPRI's policy is to recruit and keep qualified people who
understand local conditions and the markets in which the company
operates. By focusing on building good relationships with suppliers
and customers, we aim to create business growth for everyone
in the chain, from orchard to the shop shelf.
The company's distribution and marketing networks are segmented
to meet the needs of specific markets and individual customers,
from large supermarket chains to wholesalers. Long term relationships
and marketing programmes give ZESPRI a good base from which
to provide direct customer support and increase awareness of
the brand and its values. The result is sales which are successful
for all parties.
