Kiwifruit recipes - there's almost no end to the number of
ways you can eat ZESPRI Kiwi fruit..
They're always great on their own, but add them to drinks,
snacks, meals and delectable desserts and suddenly you have
something special. Go on - spoil yourself, and liven up your
life, with our delicious ideas.
Kiwi Pavlova
What you will need
3 egg whites
pinch of salt
3 tablespoons water
1 cup caster (superfine) sugar
3 tablespoons cornflour (cornstarch)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (extract)
1 teaspoon white vinegar
2 cups cream, beaten and sweetened
3 ZESPRI GREEN Kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
What to do
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F)
In a large stainless steel bowl, add the egg whites, salt
and water. Whip until stiff. Slowly add the sugar while whipping,
then sift in the cornflour, add the vanilla and vinegar.
On a non-stick baking sheet or waxed paper, shape the mixture
into an 18 cm (9 in) round and 5 cm (2 in) high disk. Place
in the oven and turn off. Leave for 6-8 hours.
Remove from the oven. Decorate with cream and ZESPRI
Kiwi fruit slices.
Serves 6-8.
