KiwiGreen: Since 1997, every kiwifruit exported is produced in-line with our eco-friendly production system called ‘KiwiGreen’. This orchard management system includes careful procedures that helps reduce on orchard pollution during the growing process, spray guidelines, factors in ethical trading practises as well as a focus on hygiene.
Track and Trace: An integral aspect of transparency within the chain. Every piece of ZESPRI® Kiwifruit sold globally can be identified and tracked back according to grower and packhouse origin.
GLOBALGAP: Starting its life as EUREPGAP, this standard was a joint project of European retailers where standards for safe and sustainable agriculture are set.
British Retail Consortium: Technical standard set by a group of British retailers which covers similar issues to GLOBALGAP, but as they affect packhouses. For example, it covers hygiene requirements, cleaning schedules, etc.
