Directions

1. Prepare ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit
2. Heat syrup ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer 1 - 2 minutes
3. Add ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit and simmer on a low heat for approximately 8 - 10 minutes
4. Serve immediately, 3 halves per serve. Spoon over warm poaching liquid. Serve with vanilla ice-cream
5. Sprinkle with fresh berries in season, if required

  • 1 cup apple juice
  • ½ vanilla bean, halved
  • 2 whole cloves
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 - 2 tbsp brown sugar, or to taste
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream
  • ⅓ cup fresh berries
