Beef Steak with Apple and ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit Sauce

Ingredients
Beef Steak
- 400 g (14 oz) rib eye beef
- 1 ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit for garnish
Sauce (a)
- 1 apple
- 2 ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit, peeled
- ½ onion
- A little ginger
Sauce (b)
- 100 ml (3½ oz) soy sauce
- 100 ml (3½ oz) mirin
- 100 ml (3½ oz) rice wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornflour (corn starch)
Directions
1. Sauce (a). Cut in small pieces and place in a blender, until smooth
2. Mix (a) and (b) in a pan and heat. Stir, until thick
3. Cut beef in 2 cm (¾ inc) dice, grill then combined with the sauce
4. Slice another ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit and grill then decorate with beef
