Directions

1. Peel and slice the ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit into a bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice
2. Wash the onion in cold water to remove any strong flavours and drain well. Add to the ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit with the gherkins, celery and walnuts. Season with salt, pepper and cumin
3. Toss and chill for 20 minutes
4. Can be garnished with chopped black olives and red pepper before serving. Good with cold meats, cheese or in pita pockets

Kiwi and Cumin Salad


  • 4 ZESPRI® GREEN Kiwifruit
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 gherkins, sliced
  • 1 stick celery, chopped
  • ½ cup walnuts, quartered
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
