Zespri and the New Zealand kiwifruit industry are regulated by the Kiwifruit Export Regulations 1999 (as amended by the Kiwifruit Export Amendment Regulations 2017). The Regulations require Zespri to publicly disclose financial statements covering the business activities Zespri undertakes and to make various disclosures about purchasing of New Zealand kiwifruit.
