METHOD
- Slice Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit and Zespri™ Green Kiwifruit.
- Take 3 slices of each Zespri™ kiwifruit and cut them into half. Keep the remaining as a whole circle slice.
- Dry the Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit and Zespri™ Green Kiwifruit slices by patting it with a dry kitchen towel.
- Next, put royal icing into a piping bag gradually to prevent wastage. If you do not have one, put royal icing into a plastic bag and cut a little of the edge.
- If the Gingerbread house you purchased is not ready-made:
- Use royal icing to stick Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit and Zespri™ Green Kiwifruit slices to the roof, window, and wall pieces first. (Of course, you may add more Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit and Zespri™ Green Kiwifruit slices for more delicious goodness!)
- Give the royal icing ample time to dry to ensure Zespri™ Kiwifruit slices stick to the gingerbread pieces.
- Put the Gingerbread house together as instructed by the kit.
If your Gingerbread house is ready-made:
- Place it on a baking stand/ aluminum tray and stick the Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit and Zespri™ Green Kiwifruit slices to it with royal icing.
- Give the royal icing ample time to dry to ensure Zespri™ Kiwifruit slices stick to the gingerbread pieces.
- Add on decorations for the gingerbread house with royal icing as you like. For example, you may draw a deer, Christmas tree, or window panes on the sides.
- Enjoy Christmas with a kiwilicious gingerbread house!
