  • Zespri SunGold kiwifruit
  • Vitamin C
  • Zespri Green kiwifruit

When it comes to holidays, we each have our favourite type. Some people love a long lazy week at the beach, whilst others prefer a culture soaked city break. But whatever type of holidaymaker you are, there is one thing that unites us all: we want to feel happy and healthy when we are away with our loved ones. Below you’ll find four key reasons why Zespri kiwifruit can help you make the most of your time away. After all, you’ve earned it!

1. It’s packed full of water

Beverages are not the only source of hydration! Eating fruit and veg like Zespri kiwifruit with high water content1 is also a tasty healthy way of keeping hydrated during those hot summer months.

2. Kiwifruit is a good source of potassium

Our bodies may love summer, but they don’t love dehydration. And if you’re a senior, you might find the rise in temperatures to be even more of a challenge1. But help is at hand. Staying hydrated is easier if you drink plenty of water and eat fruits rich in potassium, a mineral which helps balance fluid levels2.

Did you know?
One serving of Zespri kiwifruit provides almost as much potassium as a banana1,3

3. It’s highly nutritious

As well as boosting your potassium levels, Zespri kiwifruit packs an amazing punch of 17 essential nutrients1, 3. Not only is it exceptionally high in vitamin C, but it also contains other important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it one of the most nutritious foods available2, 3.

4. There’s a one for everyone

When you get to a certain age, you know exactly what you want from life. So which is it – Zespri SunGold or Zespri Green? Both varieties of Zespri kiwifruit are equally tasty and delicious, but just like summer holidays, sometimes we just fancy one type more than another. Of course, when you get to a certain age you also have the right to let your hair down a little. Our advice? Take one of each!

One of the best things about holidays is the opportunity to try out all sorts of tasty food. But what happens when you come home and are faced with the same old boring dishes? Whip yourself up a Zespri Greek Superfood Salad, and you’ll feel like you are back on the beach in no time. With anchovies, kiwifruit, feta cheese and green pepper, this dish is sure to turn any mealtime into holiday time. Save some for us!
